Give the cat hairball medicine. Any store should carry it.

If, in fact, everything else is okay then this is usually hairballs. And, yes, even if you don’t see any hair in the vomit, it can still be this problem. There are many remedies for this from tubes of laxative, even foods that are made for cats with persistent hairballs. You should be able to get a hairball remedy/laxative from your vet or over the counter.

She might have a hairball she can’t get rid of. You could get her some hairball remedy. It’s a paste in a tube, supposed to be liver flavored and you rub it into the cat’s front paws. They lick it off and it acts like a mild laxative to lubricate the hairball so it can pass. (Some cats love it like candy.) There are instructions on the tube that will tell you more about it, and you can get it anyplace that sells cat supplies. To help prevent hairballs, you should get a steel-toothed dog comb and groom your cat. This will remove a lot of loose hair. Then wet your hands and pet the cat to remove more loose hair.
You can also buy dry cat food that helps prevent hairballs.
